Requirements:

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform common tasks including: 1) Performing inspections and maintenance on shipboard and shore-based catapult, arresting gear and visual landing aids; 2) Inspecting, assembling, installing, repairing, and testing of equipment and component parts associated with aircraft carrier launching and recovery systems; 3) Planning and certifying operations performance, exercising initiative to work out unprecedented operations; and 4) Setting up, adjusting, and operating a variety of powered tools and equipment, various hand tools, and precision measuring instruments associated with pressurized systems, welding, heat treating, and plating.
