Description:
Located in the Maintenance Division in Massena, NY . You will operate and maintain a variety of equipment including boom cranes, trucks with permitted loads, tractor trailer, tractors, backhoes, air compressors, front end loaders, road graders, bulldozers, gatelifter, etc. May be assigned to Marine Services for buoy runs.
This is a 1 year open register with a hands on test - set up as pass/fail

Qualifications for the position are based on the training, experience, or other requirements that determine which applicants would be able to perform satisfactorily in the position to be filled.
To qualify at the WG-11 level, you need to have industrial and construction experience operating (controlling) boom cranes at or near the lifting capacity under criterial conditions at all boom lengths, angles and positions. Verification of this experience must be described in your resume.

As part of the assessment process eligible applicants will be required to come to Massena, NY to perform a Crane Operator hands-on test (pass/fail).
