Description:
Provides administrative and clinical services to the Kyle Behavioral Health Clinic, Pine Ridge Service Unit (PRSU)'s Behavioral Health Service. The incumbent will take a leadership role in planning, developing, coordinating and evaluating a comprehensive mental health program. Provide top level clinical expertise to client/patients. Subject to emergency on-call duties as assigned.OPEN UNTIL FILLED
Recruitment Incentive Authorized up to 25% of base pay with applicable service agreement.

BASIC REQUIREMENT(S):
Individual Occupational Requirement (IOR) DEGREE: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.

Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.-
or-
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR:
Must possess a current, unrestricted U.S. State license as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
In addition, to the Basic Requirements, you must also meet the Minimum Qualifications stated below-
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector performing the following type of work and/or tasks: Experience providing administrative supervision for behavioral health staff to ensure compliance with accrediting bodies; responsible for the coordination of a comprehensive mental health program, providing evidenced based treatment to individuals, couples, and families; providing leadership in the development of policies and procedures.
