Description:

Requirements:

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Developing design drawings and specifications for new facilities or repair, restoration, and alteration of existing facilities using advanced architectural software such as AutoCAD and/or Specs-In-Tact; Participating in on-site analysis to collect data and develop scope for construction projects; Coordinating architectural design with engineering disciplines to ensure compatibility and efficiency of site and building design; and Investigating architectural issues and concerns to recommend options for remediation or corrective measures. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Occasional physical activity is required including walking, climbing or bending in the performance of field work for designs and during field inspections of existing and/or new facilities during design and construction.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed primarily in an office setting. Travel to CONUS and OCONUS activities for assigned projects is required. There are occasional factory visits, and exposures to conditions in buildings and facilities that are under construction.
