Requirements:

In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered.

GS-07: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing support to higher level employees on reporting, issues, and documentation; 2) Ensuring supervisor is briefed on any high visibility issues, as well as providing any necessary back up documents, reports, or correspondence; 3) Developing written materials that may be used in briefs and/or guidance to project managers; and 4) Independently carrying out recurrent assignments without specific instructions.

GS-09: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Independently planning and carrying out assignments in conformance with accepted policies and practices; 2) Assisting with writing Scopes of Work, creating government estimates, and negotiating contract task orders with various contractors (e.g. CLEAN, RAC, EMACs, 8a); 3) Assisting in meetings with Federal & State Environmental regulators regarding various topics such as Environmental Restoration (ER); and 4) Assisting with the development of program information and specific installation budgets for current and future years.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
