THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a GS-0346-09 LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1178000 in SPMD 2242 and is part of the MO HHD 175th Military Police Battalion.
APPOINTMENT FACTORS: This is an Indefinite/Permanent (may retain current tenure if on-board) Excepted Service position This is a bargaining position. SEE NOTES UNDER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT BELOW.
Requirements:
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Selected candidate will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to effective date of placement. Selected candidate must be MOS qualified within 12 months from date of appointment.
Maximum Military Grade: CW4 (W-4)
Minimum Military Grade: WO1 (W-1) or Warrant Officer Candidate Certificate Holder
Warrant Officer - MOS 011A, 882A, 890A, 913A, 914A, 915A, 920A, 920B, 922A, or 923A
Supervisor must verify that selected individual occupies a compatible military position. Title 32 National Guard employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (grade inversion).
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience, education, or training involving judgment and/or analytical ability in the logistics field; and experience using computer and automation systems.
GS-09 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 24 months of specialized experience that provided you with detailed knowledge of logistics systems, principles, concepts and methodologies that demonstrates your ability to develop, implement and evaluate logistics and property accountability; and maintain property book accountability utilizing an automated system and related computer programs to account for property. The specialized experience must also demonstrate your ability to integrate actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to meet program
goals; interpret and apply regulations, laws or practices; and plan and organize work assignments.
