In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying the theories, concepts, principles and practices of civil engineering for the planning, design, construction and maintenance of a wide range of shore based engineering projects (e.g., site developments, roads, airfields,water supply, sewer systems, drainage, dredging, waste facilities, shore protection, and other large/industrial civil engineering projects); 2) Using advanced AutoCAD and civil design/analysis software to develop design drawings and specifications; 3) Assists with tracking the progress of projects to ensure they are kept within construction budgets.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/0800/files/all-professional-engineering-positions-0800.pdf and https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=Group-Standards
