In addition to the basic education requirements, your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-9/11) or pay band (DP-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Proposing high-level system designs to meet requirements using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE); 2) Completing exploratory testing of a variety of applications, identifying potential issues and validating functionality; 3) Providing expertise and recommendations for Agile Software development within the Scaled Agile Framework and is an expert in the software development life cycle best practices; and 4) Reviewing and formulating requirements (epics, capabilities, features, user stories) for both software and hardware implementations.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: Computer Science Series 1550 (opm.gov), all-professional-engineering-positions-0800.pdf (opm.gov)
