Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the ND-03 (GS-09/11 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as a professional engineer designing or developing software to support customer and end-user requirements. Examples of qualifying experience may include: developing in C/C++ on a Linux Platform, Java and/or Python; evaluating hardware/software designs; experience with software-intensive systems test and evaluation product development policies, methods, best practices, and tools as applied to Naval and/or DoD Systems; experience with software-intensive control systems; utilizing knowledge of basic construction and operation behind consoles, computers, gyros, radars, and optics; and/or experience on multi-disciplinary teams that include both government and contractor personnel to develop products to support the rapid delivery of prototype hardware and acquisition program deliverables.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:
