Description:
You will be supporting the U.S. International Trade Commission, Office of Investigations. As a critical component of the Commission's mission, this office is responsible for collecting and analyzing data, preparing reports, and presenting findings related to statutory investigations that involve investigation petitions from domestic industries that are alleging injury from unfairly traded imports.Requirements:

Basic Requirement:
A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in any field;or
At least 24 semester hours in any combination of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, purchasing, economics, political economy, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management.
AND
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS-09 level, you must have one-year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 obtained in the federal or private sector which demonstrates all of the following: assisting in conducting studies pertaining to trade to identify, analyze, and recommend solutions to problems in trade and industry; applying fact-finding and investigative techniques to gather trade data from various sources; and using qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to present data and findings.

GS-9 level, you may qualify upon competition of the following:

LL.B. or J.D., if related To qualify at the GS-11 level, you must have one-year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 obtained in the federal or private sector which demonstrates all of the following: conducting studies containing trade, economic, financial, and marketing data; applying fact-finding and investigative techniques to gather trade data from various sources; using qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques to present data and findings; and preparing and delivering briefings to managers on study findings and recommendations; collaborating as a member of a team on a research project. OR
