The Office of the Clerk of the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico is now accepting applications for an Operations Specialist position. This position is located in the Operations Division of the Clerk's Office and reports directly to the Assistant Operations Manager.Requirements:
To qualify for this position the candidate must be a high school graduate and have a minimum of two years of specialized experience.Specialized Experience
Progressively responsible clerical or administrative experience requiring the regular and recurring application of clerical procedures that demonstrate the ability to apply a body of rules, regulations, directives, or laws and involve the routine use of specialized terminology and automated software and equipment for word processing, data entry or report generation. Such experience is commonly encountered in law firms, legal counsel offices, banking and credit firms, educational institutions, social service organizations, insurance companies, real estate and title offices, and corporate headquarters or human resources/payroll operations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; Legal or court experience is highly preferred; Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in the English language is critical; Excellent organizational skills, the ability to respond to requests on short notice and the ability to manage multiple tasks and stringent deadlines, are essential; Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment; Professional demeanor and strong work ethic; and Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, and other computer applications.
