About the position: This position is located at the Fort Dix Youth Development Center at JBMDL.The position may require the incumbent to transport children in a government vehicle therefore a valid state driver's license must be obtained and maintained; a good driving record may be required as a condition of employment.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must possess maturity and good judgement and like working with children/youth and their parents.
SPECIALIZED REQUIREMENTS: One year at the CY03 level or equivalent. Must have completed an Associate of Art degree in early childhood education, youth development, or related fields or have a Child Development Associate Credential or a Youth Development Credential. (Must remain current).
