Veterinary Technicians Needed. I have two practices that need Registered Veterinary Technicians or Relief registered Veterinary Technicians.
Urgent Care Center Practice: I need part-time or full-time Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) for our after hours Urgent Care Center. The urgent care center is open 5 days a week from Friday night though Tuesday night from close of the day shift general practice until 11 pm.
General Practice: I need either part-time or full-time Registered Veterinary Technicians for our day-time general practice. We are willing to work with vet tech students while they work towards their degree. We have externship positions also available for students.
We are a rapidly growing practice and need veterinary technicians with the desire to improve and share their skills and knowledge. New Vet Tech program graduates are welcomed. The Vet Tech position in our hospital is a true nursing position and NOT a kennel position. I appreciate our Vet Techs and encourage them to grow and learn new skills. I want people that want to use those skills they learned in college or on the job to provide top notch medicine, not someone to just hold animals and clean kennels.
Individuals should have strong teamwork and communication skills. Have the skills and ability to manage patients from pre-op to post-op, perform dental procedures, perform radiographs, run labs, draw blood, place IV catheters, manage in-patient care, manage out-patient care, do technician exams, run exam rooms, be able to work as a team in busy work environment; follow written and verbal directions, able to multi-task and use a computer, and be able to perform tasks based on doctor's notes, fill medications and be able to discuss them with clients.
We need quality people that can insert themselves into our team as if they have always been there, helping the pets, doctors, team members and promoting a teamwork environment.
Should have flexibility for schedules and must be able to work any day, as well as occasional weekends and overtime as needed. Hours - we are flexible, you can work full-time (36 hours) or part-time.
