You will serve as an Electrician in the Production Division, PWD Kittery, ME.

This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability to do the work of the an Electrician without more than normal supervision as demonstrated by: 1) Installing, repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting, testing, and loading new and existing electrical lines, circuits, systems, and equipment supporting industrial operations, computer complexes, or similar complex electrical loads; 2)Interpreting building plans, blueprints, wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, and maintenance and repair manuals to install or replace existing electrical systems, controls and equipment; 3)Performing operational tests and making adjustments as necessary; 4) Arranging and installing electrical devices, e.g. (fittings, relays, boxes, circuit breakers, etc.) in ways that ensure proper and safe operation of electrical systems and equipment; 5) Using hand and power tools such as cable pullers, hydraulic benders, and pipe threading machines to accomplish repairs.
