Requirements:

For the GS-13:

This position has a Selective Placement Factor that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The Selective Placement Factor is: You must currently be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States. NOTE: You must submit a copy of your current license with your application package.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Preparing design deliverables, including basis of design, engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and/or requests for proposal for Design Build and Design Bid Build projects; 2) Using software applications (i.e., AutoCAD or Revit) to develop In-house construction documents; 3) Performing and/or leading quality control and quality assurance activities which include discipline review of in-house and/or Architect/Engineer developed design packages; 4) Determining what acquisition delivery vehicles (i.e., including Design Bid Build and Design Build) to utilize for each project; and 5) Performing post construction support to include critical system acceptance of projects assigned. For the GS-12:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in preparing design deliverables, including basis of design, engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and/or requests for proposal for Design Build and Design Bid Build projects; 2) Using software applications (i.e., AutoCAD or Revit) to develop In-house construction documents; and 3) Assisting in post construction support to include critical system acceptance of projects assigned.
