This position is located in the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation's (PBGC), Office of Management & Administration (OMA), Budget Department (BD).

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.

Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the private sector leading the preparation, review and analysis, and recommended disposition of budget formulation and budget execution related deliverables. Experience must include all of the following: balancing the OMB MAX Account, overseeing the compilation and consolidation of budget data submitted by junior budget analysts; preparing apportionment and reapportionment requests to Office of Management and Budget (OMB); ascertaining that adequate accounting policies, procedures, and records are maintained to ensure the accurate and timely recording of obligations and outlays; and providing clarifying language in various directives and operating procedures.

Selective Placement Factor: Experience preparing and reviewing SF-132, Apportionment Request.

Time-In-Grade Requirement: In order to be eligible for this position, all current Federal employees must provide proof of meeting the time-in-grade requirement (i.e., at least 52 weeks of experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service). This information must be in both your resume and on an SF-50. Those who do not provide proof of having met the time-in-grade requirement will be deemed ineligible for this position.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
