Description:
AccountStaff is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to manage an important set of varied accounting responsibilities. The ideal candidate must possess advanced attention to detail and accuracy and excel at learning new processes in a fast-paced environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Maintain general ledger integrity by independently reviewing financial transactions to ensure accurate posting.

Propose and post journal entries as appropriate.

Prepare month-end trial balance, balance sheet, income statement, cash flow and other financial reports for month-end close.

Enhance departmental efficiency through process change, technological upgrades and other project related work in conjunction with the Controller.

Prepare banking paperwork, detailed reconciliations, and other financial reports.

Prepare and file tax forms.
-
Participate in and assist with annual and special purpose audits.

Administer website access, as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
-
3-7 years experience in a larger accounting team.

Excellent MS excel skills
