Description:

This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer.
The supervisor is Eric Benner.
This position is Non-Bargaining Unit.
This position is not subject to Confidential Financial Disclosure reporting requirements and security ownership restriction reporting requirements.

Requirements:

In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

For the GG-09 level: One year of specialized experience at the GG-07 level.

For the GG-11 level: One year of specialized experience at the GG-09 level.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is defined as: experience in administrative principles, policies, and practices in order to provide administrative support to senior leaders and their staff, including handling controlled correspondence and action items, maintaining administrative information systems, managing assignments, composing routine correspondence, summarizing material requiring senior leadership attention, serving as a custodian of classified materials, establishing and maintain records, and reviewing outgoing correspondence for conformance with Agency procedures.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

Demonstrated ability to apply administrative principles, policies, and practices in order to provide administrative support to the CFO, Deputy CFO, and their staff. Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of the office’s organization, function, and programs and relationship with other components of NRC, sufficient to answer questions and act as a liaison between the office and other organizations on administrative matters. Demonstrated ability to the functions and responsibility of other NRC offices and the roles they play in the day-to-day operations of the office sufficient to determine the purpose and priority of actions and distribution of correspondence in accordance with NRC regulations.
