OPM is seeking detailees to serve as Front -End Developer under the broad administrative direction of the Director of the Office of Communications, and on occasion under other senior advisors and leaders for DX and CX transformation. The incumbent is given wide latitude for individual initiative, innovation, and exercise of independence in planning, designing, and implementing website and communications technology solutions.Requirements:
Desired Qualifications:We are looking for candidates currently at the GS-11/12/13/14 level with knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following:
- Proficiency with Content Management Systems, especially Drupal.
- Familiarly with content workflows.
- Ability to develop web site content following style and brand guideline and WCAG guidelines.
- Proficiency in semantic HTML.
- Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to write compelling and engaging content.
- Strong understanding of user experience principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with accessibility requirements and WCAG guidelines.
- Practice with open development, providing collaborative and detailed feedback to other team members.
