Requirements:

To be considered for the position, you must meet the following qualification requirements:

Education:

GS-12 and GS-13: There is no substitution of education for specialized experience for this position at these levels.

OR

Experience:

GS-12 and GS-13: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. To be creditable, this experience must have equipped the applicant with the particular qualifications to perform successfully the duties of the position, and must typically be in or related to the position to be filled.

Some examples of this qualifying experience are:

GS-12:

Experience working with multiple Human Resource programs for a large organization with a variety of administrative and professional occupations. Experience providing guidance on multiple human resource programs and issues in a large organization to managers/supervisors. Experience drafting labor management correspondence such as disciplinary letters and grievance response’s, applying organizational policies as it relates to hiring, and implementing professional developmental programs for employees.

GS-13:

Experience directing multiple Human Resource programs for a large organization with a variety of administrative and professional occupations. Experience participating in complex labor management relations (e.g. negotiations, interpreting collective bargaining agreements), applying various employment laws in recruiting and hiring, and developing and implementing professional developmental programs for employees. Experience providing guidance on multiple human resource programs and issues directly to executive level managers.


If applicable, credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience. To receive proper credit, you must show the actual time (such as the number of hours worked per week) spent in activities.
