About the Position: This position is with U.S. Army Sustainment Command, 406th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistics Readiness Center, at Fort Drum, NY.

This position is a TERM Not to Exceed 13 months position. Please see "Additional Information" section below for further details.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an MATERIALS HANDLER (MVO/FLO) without more than normal supervision which includes: Receive, store, and move supply to proper lot; verify accuracy of supply; and report discrepancies. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.

To meet the basic eligibility, you must receive at least two points on the screen-out element indicated above and must have an average of two points on all the job elements listed below. Your application will be further evaluated to determine if you meet the best qualified cut-off for referral to the selecting official.

Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. Dexterity and Safety Knowledge of Materials Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic) Work Practices (includes keeping things neat, clean, and in order)

Physical Effort: Stands, stoops, bends, and works in tiring and uncomfortable positions. May be required to work at a rapid pace for prolonged periods. Moderate physical effort is used in operating fork lift and motor vehicle hand and foot controls. Frequently lifts and carries material weighing up to 50 pounds, and at times may handle items weighing over 50 pounds with assistance.

Working Conditions: Works inside and outside subject to heat, cold, damp, drafty, or poorly light areas. May work on open docks or in storage areas or yards. Work may be dirty, dusty, and/or greasy. Frequently exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes and bruises; falls from ladders; or injury from mate
