Description:
This position is located at Departmental Offices, Domestic Finance-Financial Institutions. As an IT Specialist (INFOSEC), you will support the Treasury Department's role as the Sector Risk Management Agency for Financial Services to strengthen the security and resilience of its critical infrastructure against both physical and cyber threats.
Requirements:
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.Specialized experience for the GS-11: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service, public or other private sectors. Specialized experience for this position is defined as proven proficiency and supportable (as evidenced in the resume) hands-on experience includes the following:
-Providing technical guidance on cybersecurity matters; AND
-Interpreting cybersecurity policy; AND
-Assisting with the development of risk assessment criteria to be used for identifying cyber security threats.
OR EDUCATION: You may substitute education for general or specialized experience as follows:
- Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR
- 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed
