ABR is recruiting a Part-Time Accountant for a top notch company in Downtown Stevens Point, WI!Hours are 20-25 hours per week and can be flexible. Starting wage is $20.00 - $23.00 per hour.
Part-Time Accountant Responsibilities:
- General accounting for all revenues and expenditures and trust account oversight.
- Preparation of all monthly financial statements, monthly productivity reports, and assist with preparation of annual budget.
- Administration of payroll, taxes, state and federal withholdings, and employee benefits.
- Preparation and filing of sales and use tax and local personal property tax reports.
- Regular reconciliation of accounts.
- Contact for third party employee benefit administrators, including health insurance, dental insurance, retirement plans and group life insurance.
- Contact for property/casualty and professional liability insurance.
- Contact for CPA for all tax and accounting matters.
Part-Time Accountant Background Profile:
- Associate accounting degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of basic bookkeeping and GAAP accounting principles.
- Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and team player.
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive information.
