About the Position: This position will serve as a Senior Health Physicist with responsibility as a Quality Manager of the U.S. Army Dosimetry Center, developing new proposes to enhance the quality of the program and to address new dosimetry requirements.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience can be defined as having one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) providing ionizing radiation dosimetry support through the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) to personnel whose duties require the use of radioactive material, consequence management response force personnel that respond to nuclear events and/or exposure from ionizing radiation devices.

Health Physics Measurement and Instrumentation Nuclear Engineering Technical Competence

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
