The Home Construction Quality Manager will be responsible for all daily duties that involve the oversight of successful and timely construction of residential homes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Work with Division President and General Counsel to ensure quality standards are being met and building code satisfied at various stages of construction progress
- Develop and implement best practices to ensure compliance with building codes and other manufacturer requirements in the field
- Ensures that blueprints and plans and specs are correct in all respects and related construction in the field sufficiently complies
- On job training of all builders in process and procedures
- Evaluates and maintains effectiveness of staff, maintain minimum performance level via training/hiring/replacement
- Facilitates training for builders as needed
- Maintain and enforce work place safety requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field of study or equivalent experience
- At least eight (8) years previous construction experience in new construction and in a supervisory capacity
- Homebuilding software experience is preferred
- Reliable automobile and a valid driver’s license.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of Colorado Building Code and relevant local building codes
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal
- Work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with tight deadlines.
- Maintain attention to detail and follow through.
- Make decisions and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee may be exposed to conditions that include weather such as heat and/or humidity and cold, fumes or airborne particles, exposure to dust and asphalt, and moving mechanical parts.
The Superintendent is regularly required to:
• Walk, climb stairs, sit, and stand.
• Talk and hear at normal levels.
• See with close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and have the ability to adjust focus.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• Use hands and fingers to operate tools and other business machines.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
General Overview of Compensation:
• $125,000-$150,000
