Registered Nurse – Progressive Care - Travel - (PCU RN)
StartDate: 4/22/2024 Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $2264.00 - $2495.00
Number of Beds/Cases:6 Selling Points for unit:1:3 RN ratio, RN needs to be ACLS certified, cardiac certified Remote? Y Adults: Y On-Unit? Y Geriatric: Y Both? Y Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: Strokes, TBI, Craniotomies/cranioplasties, back surgeries, VP/LP shunts, seizures. Occasionally: syncope, hyper/hypotension & vascular surgeries. Any special procedure done on the unit? Chest tube insertions, EVD insertions, Halo's Common Medications used on the unit? Antiseizure medications, antipsychotic medications, antihypertensive, DM Common Equipment: Bard IV pumps, GE cardiac monitor, EPCD, sit-to-stand tool, Hoyer, transfer boards, seizure pads. Is Vasoactive Drip Titration Required? y If Yes, which drips: levophed, dopamine, dobutamine, cardene, cardizem, cleviprex, nipride & amiodarone What areas require floating? ICU, Surgical stepdown unit, ER Frequency: rare What Exams? epic proficency, pharmacology exam
Required Qualifications
NY LIC IN Hand
ACLS, BLS and PALS
Must have Neuro Exp
Preferred Qualifications
Travel and EPIC Exp
