Description:
This position is located in the Division of Insurance and Research, Data Strategy Section performing data analysis to produce datasets and reports for researcher and end user consumption.

Requirements:
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. For the CG-12: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-GS/11 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing data quality assessments; participating in the development of new applications, utilities, or systems; conducting feasibility and/or cost benefit analyses of automated systems; and querying data systems and generating reports.
For the CG-11: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-GS/9 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience in at least 3 of the following areas: (1) performing data quality assessments; (2) participating in the development of new applications, utilities, or systems; (3) conducting feasibility and/or cost benefit analyses of automated systems; (4) querying data systems and generating reports; or
Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or; LL.M., if related; or
A combination of education and experience.
For the CG-9: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG-GS/7 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined experience with data quality assessments to assist in determining the readiness of datasets for analysis and final product for users or
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related; or
A combination of education and experience.
