About the Position: This position is located at the US Army MSCoE Chemical School 3rd Chemical Brigade CDTF at Ft Leonard Wood, Mo. Ft Leonard Wood is located in the beautiful South-Central Mo Ozarks. Fort Leonard Wood is located in Pulaski County, Mo. Bordering the installation are the towns of Waynesville/St. Robert and Interstate 44. St. Louis is a 2 hour drive to the East along I-44 and Springfield is more than an hour's drive to the West of Ft Leonard Wood.Requirements:

Specialized experience is defined as 1 year experience with a federal, state, municipal, local, or private protective organization performing installation access control, using physical access control equipment, safeguarding personnel, information and critical assets, recording visitor information, and determining whether appropriate authorization for access exists.
The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed equivalent to the next lower grade/position in Federal Service (GS-05).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).All applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and specialized experience requirements within thirty (30) days after the closing date of the announcements.
Time-in-grade documentation: If you are applying for a higher grade and your SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you meet the one year time-in-grade requirement so you will need to provide an SF-50 which clearly demonstrates you meet the time-in-grade requirements (examples of appropriate SF-50s include Promotions, Within-grade Grade/Range Increases, and SF-50s with an effective date more than one year old).
