Requirements:

GENERAL EXPERIENCE is experience, education or training involving administration of supply management, storage, cataloging, packaging and distribution or other work which provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems

GS-09 - SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION

To qualify for this position, you must meet the Specialized Experience, Education, or a combination of both as described below:

Specialized Experience - Must have at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade, GS-07. Examples of specialized experience includes: Demonstrated ability researching documents or other resources to coordinate inventory requirements. Knowledge of stock levels, inventory, shipping, receiving, requisitioning and requirements of supplies and equipment. Experience involving the control of supply stocks and accounting for equipment. Knowledge of supply management, cataloging, maintenance, and disposal procedures. Experience which required person-to-person contacts to convey information and ability to compile reports, letters, memoranda, etc. Demonstrated experience with cost estimates, budgets, or funding management. Experience conducting extensive and exhaustive searches for required information; reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support for supply activities. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing, as well as work in an appropriate manner with peers and management.

OR

Education - Possess a master's, an equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree. NOTE: In order to be considered for this position using education as a basis of qualification, you must submit a copy of your transcripts.

OR

Combination - A combination of Specialized Experience and Education as described above. Only graduate education in excess to 1 full year of graduate level education may be used when combining education and experience to meet the total qualification requirements. NOTE: In order to qualify for this position using a combination of experience and education, you must submit a copy of your transcripts.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Resume must have complete dates and hours worked per week for each occurrence of both civilian and military employment (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only will result in disqualification. The duties listed must fully substantiate -in your own words- that you meet the minimum requirements and specialized experience listed above, in detail; otherwise, you will not be considered qualified for this position.

Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Your experience will be evaluated on the basis of duties performed. Your record of experience, training, and education must show possession of the following knowledge, skills and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position:

- Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and theories of one or more technical supply specializations, and the standard practices, methods, and techniques of the occupation sufficient to perform difficult, but well-precedented assignments.

- Knowledge of analysis, evaluation, fact-finding, and investigative techniques in order to gather data, identify significant factors, and recommend a solution from a number of possible alternatives.

- Knowledge of the one or more technical supply specializations to perform studies and prepare reports, documentation, and correspondence to communicate factual and procedural information clearly.

- Skill in applying the principles, concepts, and practices of one or more technical supply specializations sufficient to perform moderately difficult assignments.

- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing, as well as work in an appropriate manner with peers and management.

- Ability to learn and apply analytical investigative techniques to accomplish work in one or more technical supply specializations.
