About the Position: Office space located in a room with PEBLO. Working environment is office and cubicles with other Medical Evaluation Board employees. Hours of operation is 7:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. and the applicant can expect to achieve helping service members from the Army, Navy and Marines process through their medical board.Requirements:

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year specialized experience which includes advising patients on the medical evaluation process such as explaining medical board findings, medical forms, and medical test preparations; utilizing automated software such as Electronic Medical Evaluation Board (eMEB), Composite Healthcare System (CHCS), Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA) to prepare documents for patients and medical evaluation boards; scheduling patient's medical appointments with various clinics per the physician's request; coordinating with patients, physicians and clinics to avoid scheduling clinics; and making travel arrangements for patient's scheduled appointments. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).
