Description:

As a Financial Manager, you will provide executive direction to and set policies for financial management, governance and strategy to include the design, establishment, and coordination of an integrated comprehensive financial management system, including financial, budget, reporting, accounting and fiduciary programs, internal controls, risk management, compliance, strategic management, and enterprise project management and process improvement activities and operational activities.

You must meet the following requirements within 30 calendar days after the closing date of this announcement:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the NB-VII band level or GS-15 grade level in the Federal service. Examples of specialized experience for this position include:

  • Leading a staff responsible for financial management functions in areas such as budgeting, accounting, auditing, and/or financial management analysis;
  • Leading the formulation and execution of an organization's budget;
  • Overseeing the resolution of financial audit issues and findings; and
  • Ensuring financial activities are in compliance with federal financial laws, regulations, and policies for an organization.


    The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector, or through volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
