Computed Tomography Technologist - (CT Tech)
StartDate: 4/28/2024 Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $1750.00 - $2016.00
CT Tech needed ASAP Required Certifications: Radiologic Technology Certification required / AMA Radiology Program Certificate – AART / RRT Years of Experience: 1+ EMR: Cerner until switch to EPIC in fall 2024 Scrub Color: Black Performs diagnostic radiographic services.Operates imagining equipment. Operates other equipment/devices as appropriate. Positions patient • Immobilizes patients as necessary. Calculates exposure factors. Practices radiation protection. Evaluates radiographs for technical quality • Assumes care for physical and psychological needs of patients during examinations and procedures, and the ages of our patients range from newborn to the geriatrics • Practices aseptic technique as necessary • Assists physician with administration of contrast media and is familiar with possible reactions and appropriate response to such reactions • Recognizes signs and symptoms of an emergency and determines course of action • Initiates life support measures for patients, if necessary
Required Qualifications
Required Certifications: Radiologic Technology Certification required / AMA Radiology Program Certificate – AART / RRT
