Description:

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the STRL Mission Support direct hire authority. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. Requirements:

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of professional engineering principles, methods, and techniques required to identify and control actual or potential hazards in equipment, machine design or operations, and new construction and modifications to facilities in an industrial complex; 2) Utilizing knowledge of occupational safety and health principles, standards, practices, and techniques to develop safety criteria, standards, and training; 3) Planning, organizing and conducting on-site reviews and/or investigations and analysis of the basic safety program and providing adequate/comprehensive resolution to correct the deficiency and/or problem; 4) Providing technical engineering expertise for a wide range of occupational safety and health programs as they relate to a highly industrialized aircraft repair facility; 5) Operating, applying and maintaining technical instruments utilized in safety and health surveys and inspections, including combustible gas indicators, electrical measuring instruments, radiation detection equipment, etc.; and 5) Coordinating a variety of actions and developing plans of action and milestones to effectively monitor and assure effective supply/program support.
