You will serve as a Paralegal Specialist in the Office of the Staff Judge Advocate of USMC RECRUITING COMMAND.Requirements:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Drafting and preparing briefing and information papers, opinions, conclusions, and recommendations; 2) Providing support and assistance to staff performing legal work and program management in the areas of ethics, standards of conduct, and financial disclosure; 3) Researching and analyzing statutes, directives, instructions, regulations, orders, digests, documentaries, commentaries, legal instruments, case law and other legal and administrative reference material to respond to issues presented; and 4) Researching, analyzing, and advising on Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)/Privacy Act (PA) matters.Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: https://www.opm.gov/policy-data-oversight/classification-qualifications/general-schedule-qualification-standards/#url=List-by-Occupational-Series
