About the position: This position is located at the This position will be assigned to the Child Development Center on JB Charleston SC Air base.Physical Effort: Frequent lifting and moving of objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Constant standing, walking, stooping, reaching, pushing, and bending.
Drug Testing Designated Position. The incumbent is subject to a random testing for drug use. (IAW AFI 44-107 Dtd 7 April 2010).

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience: Must have knowledge and experience in preparing, cooking, and serving a variety of menu items such as soups, meats, fish, chicken, gravy, sauces, etc. Must have a knowledge of yielding testing to determine portion cost and to adjust ingredients in standard recipes for altering number of servings required. Must have experience in preparing special and modified diets. Must be experienced in ordering, issuing, and storing food items IA W inventory and sanitation requirements. Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Certificate and handle a wide variety of food handling techniques to meet sanitation and safety standards. Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Must be able to satisfactorily complete installation, state, and national criminal background checks, CPR, and first aid. This is a drug testing designated position.
