In order to be rated as qualified for this position, we must be able to determine that you meet the qualification requirements - please be sure to include this information in your resume. No assumptions will be made about your experience.You must possess one (1) full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 level that is equivalent in difficulty and complexity. Specialized experience is defined as experience with Financial Regulations, Debt Collection Act, Comptroller General Decisions, Internal Revenue Code, Appropriations Laws, OMB guidance, Treasury Regulations, General Accepted Accounting Principles to perform the collections and billings functions for BLM; planning, coordination, and execution of business functions, resource allocation, and production; developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring, and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance; mastery of the concepts, principles, methods, and requirements for proper revenue management sufficient to provide technical leadership and coordination.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
