Description:
This National Guard position is for an ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN (CIVIL), Position Description Number D0591P01 and is part of the OH Camp Perry JTC, Ohio Army National Guard.The primary purpose of this position is to provide technical expertise in preparing engineering plans, specifications and cost estimates. Additionally, the incumbent of this position will conduct preliminary and intermediate contractual inspections.
Requirements:
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:Must have 1-year equivalent to at least next lower grade level experience, education, or training with knowledge of basic standard engineering principles, methods and practices. Experience reading and interpreting engineering and architectural plans and specifications. Experience planning, scheduling and supervising; exercising initiative and sound judgment. Experience using a variety of inspection techniques and practices to determine compliance with plans and specifications.
