About the position:
This position will be assigned to Outdoor Recreation located on Peterson Air Force Base.
This position may require shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures is required. First Aid and CPR training is required. Higher Certification such as WFR highly desirable. Must have a valid driver's license and must be able to obtain a Government Driver's License. Must have one or more of the following: Peterson AFB Indoor Climbing Wall Instructor Certification and State of Colorado/Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area (AHRA) Whitewater Rafting Guide.
