About the Position: Serves as a program analyst in the HQDA Resource Management Directorate, Program Budget Division, Programs & Budget Formulation Branch. The incumbent is responsible for formulating, managing, reviewing, interpreting, analyzing, and evaluating operating programs and projects for which the Army Secretariat and ARSTAFF have responsibility.Requirements:

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes work that involves providing advice and recommendations on all aspects of assigned budget programs and making necessary changes/revisions based upon continual reviews; reviewing and interpreting program and budgetary guidance; validating financial programs and manpower data in order to ensure the efficiency and effective use of command resources.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
