THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.
This National Guard position is for a GS-1152-09 PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1255000 in SPMD 5124 and is part of the MO Field Maintenance Shop 4.
APPOINTMENT FACTORS: This position is a Temporary vacancy NTE one year in the Excepted Service. This is a bargaining position. SEE NOTES UNDER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT BELOW.
Requirements:
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Selected candidate will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to effective date of placement. Selected candidate must be MOS qualified within 12 months from date of appointment.
Maximum Military Grade - Warrant Officer - CW3 (W-3) Enlisted - SGM (E-9)
Title 32 National Guard employees will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (grade inversion).
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience, education or training which indicates you can reason in quantitative terms, communicate orally and in writing in a clear and concise manner, and understand the terminology and data pertaining to the repair operations and processes characteristic of a production activity.
GS-09 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess 24 months of specialized experience in preparing job or work orders; scheduling various phases of projects into the production facility; following up to see if work is progressing as planned and arranging for adjustments in materials, machine processes, and work sequencing allowing for changes; using current automation support programs to input data, provide status of equipment, and monitor job order status, monitor work priorities, requisition repair parts, track repair parts status, etc.
