About the Position: This position is with The Chemical Biological Center (CBC).The Chemical Biological Center (CBC) is participating in an alternative personnel system known as the Laboratory Personnel Demonstration Project (DEMO). The pay band DE-03 is equal to the former GS-12 step 01 through GS-14 step 10.

Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Executing operational plans and procedures, performing duties that require analytical ability, judgment, and knowledge of the mission; 2) Providing recommendations to operational issues involving receipt, storage, handling, demilitarization and physical protection of Chemical, Biological and Industrial devices at CONUS/OCONUS locations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE-02/GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (DE-02/GS-11).
