About the Position: Serve as Supply Technician and Production Controller for Fleet Management Expansion (FMX) program.

This position is obligated to an employee who has return rights back to this position.

Requirements:

Term Appointment NTE - Position may be filled as a Term Appointment NTE 13 months, Term appointments may be extended beyond of six(6) years, up to eight (8) years. With DoD approval, Term appointments may be extended beyond eight (8) years.

Current permanent Federal employees (to include permanent Army employees)applying for a Term appointment will be appointed/converted into a Term appointment with no statutory return rights back to a permanent position.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience at this level may include: providing prompt service editing and processing requisitions utilizing automated requisitioning systems, such as Global Combat Support Systems-Army (GCSS-Army); preparing procedures for inventories to participate in the inventory process; maintaining supply records for customers supported by the organization; and investigating discrepancies in shipments such as incorrect quantities, inferior quality, incomplete, damaged or erroneous parts. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the Federal service (GS-05) or equivalent pay band.

Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. (Must provide transcripts)

OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 18. Add the two percentages. (Must provide transcripts)

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05).
