Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in media relations, public affairs, or journalism within a military or government context. Utilize writing, editing, and verbal communication techniques to tailor messages for different audiences and platforms. Maintain relationships with media professionals, stakeholders, and community leaders. Organize and manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Using media monitoring and analysis tools, social media platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
