Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes instructing law enforcement techniques/procedures, laws, electronic communications systems, and weapon systems; Planning, directing, and reviewing the activities of police officers; Assigning work to subordinate police officers; Participating in investigations; And knowledge of basic laws and regulations, law enforcement operations, practices, and techniques and involved responsibility for maintaining order and protecting life and property. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09).
