Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Lead Hazardous Waste Disposer (Motor Vehicle Operator/ Forklift Operator) without more than normal supervision. Ability to perform the common Lead Hazardous Waste Disposer (MVO/FLO) duties which includes interpreting guides such as plans and blueprints, demonstrating proper work methods, and providing information to supervisor on progress of work. I can determine proper identification of materials, correct incorrect labels, and store materials in accordance with regulations. - Failure to meet this Screen Out Element will result in an ineligible rating.
Ability to Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. Ability To Lead or Supervise Dexterity and Safety Knowledge of Materials Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic) Work Practices (includes keeping things neat, clean, and in order) PHYSICAL EFFORT-Position requires frequent standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending, and working in uncomfortable positions. Physical handling of HW/HM will be routine. May be required to lift or carry items that weigh up to 50 pounds, shifting/relocating heavier items using material handling equipment. WORKING CONDITIONS- Work is performed inside and outside and exposes incumbent to weather extremes. There is exposure to noise, vibrations, and jolting from operated machinery. Incumbent is exposed to possibility of cuts, scrapes, and bruises. There is the possibility of exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes from spills and/or leaking containers and may be required to wear protective clothing (e.g., rubber boots, coveralls, goggles, aprons, gloves, respirator, etc.). Work is dirty, dusty, and greasy.
