This position is being filled under Direct Hire Authority 5 U.S.C. § 9905, dated 6/23/2023This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command. The incumbent will provide life cycle management for the development, acquisition, integration, field support, and modernization of Air Force systems.
Requirements:
You may qualify at the NH-03, if you fulfill the following qualifications:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level in the Federal service, military, or private sector:
- Applying laws, principles, policies, and practices of systems acquisition and program management, and integrated life cycle management.
- Planning, organizing, and managing critical aspects of research, development, production, and support of subsystems or equipment.
- Integrating, analyzing, and managing a variety of acquisition functions and personnel in support of the process Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
