As the Principal Technical Manager, you will serve as Department Head of the Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) Department of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head Division (NSWC IHD).Requirements:
The applicant is to provide a separate narrative statement which describes fully, but concisely, how his/her experience supports each of the following Mandatory Technical Qualifications. Each technical qualification narrative should not exceed 2 pages . Failure to address these specific qualifications in a separate narrative statement will eliminate you from consideration:1. Extensive knowledge and experience as a technical expert and consultant across areas associated with Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) of energetic materials.
2. Knowledge of large scale, complex warfare systems and the associated underlying science and engineering disciplines, including but not limited to mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, physics, and materials science.
3. Extensive knowledge of diverse scientific and engineering fields, marked creativity, and scientific perception.
4. Ability to lead and direct large, complex, and diverse technical organizations.
5. Ability to develop and analyze future war-fighting concepts and capabilities.
6. Knowledge of scientific and engineering disciplines as they are used in technical, mission-oriented organizations operating in an energetics environment.
7. Knowledge of energetic test and evaluation.
8. Knowledge of chemical, biological, radiological methods and requirements.
9. Ability to sustain personnel and resources within the working capital fund (WCF) business model.
