Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, San Diego Sector, Law Enforcement Programs Division, Strategic Communications Branch located in Chula Vista, CA.

Requirements:

Experience: You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Consulting with clients on general concepts, objectives, and target audiences of projects; Directing video productions by designing sets and lighting, conceiving visuals, selecting music and sound effects; Selecting and directing cameras and movement during taping and editing; Assisting in preparation or graphics and support requirements for productions.

Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- photography, radio or television production, motion picture production, or other fields related to the position. -OR- Advanced training in a vocational school, technical institute, or art institute above the high school level in one of the fields listed above is creditable as general experience on a month-for-month basis.

You must:
Meet all qualification requirements, including education if applicable to this position, subject to verification at any stage of the application process; and Meet all applicable Time in Grade requirements (current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade or equivalent grade band in the federal service) by 04/08/2024.

Residency: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by CBP.
