Requirements:
Experience: You qualify for the GS-12 grade level if you possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, performing duties such as: Consulting with clients on general concepts, objectives, and target audiences of projects; Directing video productions by designing sets and lighting, conceiving visuals, selecting music and sound effects; Selecting and directing cameras and movement during taping and editing; Assisting in preparation or graphics and support requirements for productions.You qualify for this position if you possess one year of specialized experience or substitution of education, if applicable, as described above > > > OR<<< meet the basic requirement listed below.

Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study -- photography, radio or television production, motion picture production, or other fields related to the position. -OR- Advanced training in a vocational school, technical institute, or art institute above the high school level in one of the fields listed above is creditable as general experience on a month-for-month basis.

Residency: There is a residency requirement for all applicants not currently employed by CBP. Probationary Period: All employees new to the federal government must serve a one year probationary period during the first year of his/her initial permanent federal appointment to determine fitness for continued employment.
