About the Position: Ice Harbor Project is a multi-purpose hydropower project, with missions including operation and maintenance of the facility for flood control, hydro power generation with six main generating units, navigation locks, fish facility, recreation, and natural resource management.

In order to qualify, you must meet the requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. For the GS-7:Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes routine assignments in support of acquisition programs performing work to acquire supplies and services by purchase, rental or lease in accordance with governing regulations, as well using software designed to ensure accurate tracking and recordkeeping regarding the fulfillment of contractual obligations. (NOTE: This experience MUST be well documented on your resume or application package). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-05.

OR

One full year of progressively higher GRADUATE level education -OR- A Bachelor's Degree with Superior Academic achievement. Superior Academic Achievement is defined 1) a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher for all completed undergraduate coursework or for all courses completed in the last two full years of undergraduate work; 2) a GPA of 3.5 or higher for all courses in the major field of study, or those courses in your major completed in the last two full years of undergraduate work; 3) ranking in the upper one third of your college, university, or major subdivision; or 4) membership in a national honor society other than freshman honor societies) recognized by the Association of College Honor Societies. (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts for verification).

OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

For the GS-9:Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing multiple segments of the contract management process such as reviewing requisitions and developing specifications; evaluating bids or proposals for compliance with contract specifications; drafting and reviewing contracts; developing standard service contracts for routine services; and ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs.) (NOTE: This experience MUST be well documented on your resume or application package). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

OR

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position such as Business Administration.

OR

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
