Hello! We are hiring for Material Handler here at our Facility in Litchfield Park, AZ!
Pay Rate:
$17 per hour - paid weekly.
Location:
North avenue and Reems road, Litchfield Park, AZ.
Shift:
Mon-Fri start time is between 7a-8a and will work 8 hours.
Description:
- Performs entry-level tasks to support the movement, storage, and packaging of inventory.
- Pulling orders and preparing orders for shipment
- Using an RF scanner to pick orders
- Packing orders into boxes for shipping .
- Other duties of a material handler include:
- Loading and unloading different transport items
- Recording inventory statuses
- Ensuring deliveries properly match purchase orders
- Maintaining inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock
- Recording location of inventory
- Reporting shortages
- Pulling orders from inventory
- Delivering production materials and supplies where needed
- Staging finished product final distribution .
- Material handlers are an important component of the warehousing industry, and their duties include handling and moving merchandise around the premises.
- They may also manage the shipping and receiving of materials within a facility.
- Material handlers use hand trucks, electric fork jacks, and forklifts to move product.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Must be able to lift 50lbs+
- Must be willing to be flexible while company is still in start up phase
- Must be comfortable standing in one spot for entire shift
- Must be willing to work in various locations throughout the DC
